IN THE NEWS

After seven long years of being buried within the ground, WCP's Solder CD was finally released on October 31st, 2007.
Reviews and Underground Radio Airplay have been great so far with few exceptions. Here are those exceptions:
Matthew Willis, Reviewer for Grave Concerns E-Zine said, "If it is indeed true that album had been completed in 2000, It should have been updated to sound more in step." Perhaps if Matthew had done his homework he could have saved himself some embarrassment.
First of all, as all WCP fans know, the album was completed prior to 2000, but that's a small mistake compared to the second part of that statement.
There are no multitrack masters to this album in existence. All original digital multitrack files were destroyed by overzealous Christians while Korpserape was locked away. The only thing remaining of the Solder project was the final mix down on one burned CD-R. There is no way to update something from the final mix, short of trashing the album completely and starting from scratch, Korpserape had no choice. Not to mention, Intolerance Records had already entered into an agreement with Korpserape for the Solder album prior to his insane asylum incarceration, hence all the controversy.
Matthew then went on to sum up the review by giving a shout out to his boys Assemblage 23 & Imperative Reaction and even went so far as to say that Korpserape could take a lesson from these acts!
Korpserape had never heard of these acts, as he has no influences, so Korpserape took it upon himself to look up the bands myspace pages.
The only thing that Korpserape could do with these projects is perhaps eviscerate and eat the band members then steal their equipment, particularly Access Virus! Assemblage 23 has some ok sounds if you like techno with weak, childlike vocals. The song Raw could have sampled a Prodigy beat it's such a copy. Clearly Tom Shear is an industry hack with too much money and time on his hands.
As for Imperative Reaction, definitely some cool synth programming but then every song kicks in the same way on the same measure into an 80's pop 'spin me right round baby' synth line with vocals like Orgy. It's like they think they have discovered the perfect formula to make a perfect industrial pop song and are deathly afraid to stray from it. Please be creative or donate your Access Virus to Korpserape so he can put it to good use.
After listening to all three of these projects, I would have to honestly say that Ted Phelps and Tom Shear could take a lesson or two from DJ Korpserape, not the other way around. I'm not bad mouthing anyone, and I wasn't asked to do a review, but let's compare apples to apples. Clearly Korpserape likes the sounds he made in 1999 with the equipment available to him at the time... And so do all his fans.

KORPSERAPE CURRENTLY WORKING ON NEXT RELEASE
That's right. Korpserape is back and more pissed off then ever! Seven years of his creative forces growing with no outlet. His new album is approximately 10% complete. He's hired on J Shepherd as Producer again.
Upon release of the next CD, the song 'SHEEP 2008' will be released free of charge on WCP's myspace page. 'SHEEP 2008' is not a remix in the traditional sense of the word, as remixes usually consist of original individual tracks with new tracks added. Since none of the original files exist, Korpserape made all new music and rerecorded the vocals.
Producer J Shepherd says, "Although the next WCP album isn't finished yet, it's really coming along nicely. Korpserape has taken amazing new directions in sound development and creativity. And quite frankly... I don't know if the industry is ready for it." He then went on to say (jokingly, I hope) how maybe Intolerance will make Korpserape wait seven years this time before it's released. Korpserape then lifted J off the ground by his throat.
SHEEP 2008 MUSIC VIDEO
Production has already begun for the SHEEP 2008 Music Video. Locations have been scouted and preparations have been put in place for this epic project. Favors have been called in and sets are being planned for an event of this magnitude. Intolerance will be hiring nearly 200 extras for this video shoot.
WCP SKI MASKS
We get questions all the time about the embroidered WCP Ski Masks. This section is intended to address some of those.
Q: When the hell can I buy a ski mask?!
A: Soon.
Q: How soon?

Q: Ok.
A: That's not a question.
Q: How much are the new WCP Ski Masks?
A: A lot.
Q: No seriously.
A: That's not a question.
Q: How much are the new WCP Ski Masks?
A: You already asked me that.
Q: But you didn't answer.
A: I said alot.
Q: .......... (Impatiently tapping foot.)
A: Around $25 including shipping.
Q: What colors are available?
A: Black.
Q: How does one go about obtaining a WCP Ski Mask?
A: Kill someone wearing one and steal it.
Q: What if nobody around me has one?
A: Then go here and order one instead but be aware while wearing it of anyone else taking my previous advice.
Q: You've been extremely helpful.
A: I hate you.
